Blood Bowl (and similar diversions)

Way back when I was a kid, some of my friends played a game called Blood Bowl. It was a silly board game of 'fantasy football' - think American football but played by orcs and goblins, trolls and dwarves.

Around the turn of the Millennium, I found a copy of the game for sale in a charity shop. I added a few players that I found for sale in a long-gone model shop in Cardiff Market. I also met my Blood Bowl buddy Bryan, when he started working in the cinema where I worked. We started playing this old game and over the years I put match reports on my blog.

Then in 2017, Games Workshop, the company that manufactured the game, rebooted it (pun intended). I bought myself the new game as a treat for handing in my MSc dissertation. A few years later they released a second edition of the reboot. I also bought that. And a spin off called Dungeonbowl. And more teams. And, generally, got hooked.

I don't play as much as I would like to, but here is a collection of posts about it.
